We're headed east for a few days with a sweet family from our church. Going to do a little vacationing, a little relaxing, and a little hiking in one of the most gorgeous parts of America. Be back soon!

If you are curious about about what the Sanderson's have been up to lately, here are a few pictures. This one is from our cruise around Lake Coeur d'Alene with the IronMan staff. This past week we volunteered for the IronMan competition that was held here. Over 2,000 athletes competed from all over the country and all over the world. In the midst of all the activities, we have had a little unpacking to do. I think there may be just a few boxes left. On Saturday the church and mission teams here helped feed pancakes to over 1,000 people participating or helping with the IronMan. This week please pray for us as we are helping with a VBS at another church in our association. That Artic Edge song will get stuck in your head. Beware! We are so thankful to be here, and we are really thankful for your prayers. Come see us! We miss you already. NPR did a story on how More Young People Are Moving Away From Religion . In the piece David Greene asks six "young people" (they're all about my age) about their move away from the religion they were raised with. I think you should go read or listen to the article. If you are not moving away from religion then you should think about why. If your religion is not meaningful or true then it is about time you give it up and look for things that are meaningful and true. My heart is moved toward those in my generation who are seeking answers and not quite getting them. I took the time this morning to consider how I would respond to the concerns of these six people.
